Ambulance driver
Let op: Elke chauffeur wordt eerst als dierenhulpverlener opgeleid
You ensure efficient and safe transport
As an ambulance driver, you will drive the ambulance and work with the co-driver and dispatcher to help animals (in need). As a driver, you will first be trained as an animal rescuer. Your duties include:
- You drive the ambulance, ensuring efficient and safe transport;
- You provide (first) aid to animals (in distress);
- You stabilise injured animals;
- You provide aftercare to the animals and any owners and bystanders.

Night shifts are particularly challenging: there is a certain calmness about the city, you mainly drive emergency trips and there are no traffic jams at night. In fact, the city is yours for a while at night.
