Animal aid worker
You take care of the animal in need
As an animal rescue worker, you will be a co-driver on the ambulance and work with the driver and dispatcher to help animals (in need).
Your duties include:
- Providing first aid to animals in distress;
- Stabilise injured animals;
- Working with the driver to ensure safe transport;
- Provide aftercare for animals and any owners and bystanders.

You are going to learn things you thought you would never do. On the other hand, you are always allowed to state your limit. Safety comes first.
We ask
- Min 21 years and education at min MBO level
- Inzetbaarheid van min. 8 uur per week
- A commitment of min. one year
- Thinking in terms of possibilities and solutions
- Good social and communication skills

- Day shift: 09:00 - 18:00
(half shifts possible) - Evening service: 6pm - 11pm
- Night shift: 23.00 - 09.00

Night shifts are particularly challenging: there is a certain calmness about the city, you mainly drive emergency trips and there are no traffic jams at night. In fact, the city is yours for a while at night.
